Welcome to the nerdiest thing I've done so far this week. Will it last? Most likely not. This blog will inevitably wind up pushed back in the corner of my closet, alongside my home science kit, my ukelele, and my beginner's magic set. But for one brief, shining moment, like a supernova before it becomes a gaping black hole, this will be sweet. Where down the list of things that have solidified me as an A-1 geek will this blog fall? Somewhere betwixt sleeping outside the Mankato movie theater to buy tickets to Star Wars: The Phantom Menace and correcting my friend on the actual name given to Treebeard and his tree friends in The Lord of the Rings (for those unenlightened, they are Ents). It will definitely fall above me using the word 'betwixt' though. So for a guy who writes and reads comic books, who didn't mind the Clone Saga when it came out (a Ben Reilly fan? Noooo), and has about six or seven various journals in which he's written a total of three entries, this will be an interesting endeavour. So for now, I bid a good evening, the King of the Nerds is needed.
